Perfect combination: Allrounder Golden Edition with Multilift V Select

Arburg presents its latest products at the Plastindia

(PresseBox) (Loßburg, ) From February 4 to 9, 2009, Arburg and its long-term Indian trading partner Unimark will present a novelty at the Plastindia in New Delhi. At the Arburg exhibition stand No. C12 / D11 in Hall 12 a, trade visitors will see the Allrounder 420 C Golden Edition with a Multilift V Select robotic system. With this new combination, Arburg will also demonstrate the teach-in function for simple and convenient programming of the robotic system.

The hydraulic Allrounder Golden Edition machines feature fixed clamping force/injection unit combinations. They offer technologically superior standard equipment in the form of highly wear-resistant plasticising cylinders, fast-switching valve technology and the Selogica-direct control system with touchscreen and are also distinguished by their exceptionally attractive price. Like all Arburg machines, the Allrounder Golden Edition is also produced exclusively at the parent factory in Lossburg - with the mark of quality "made by Arburg - made in Germany".

At the Plastindia Arburg will present a machine of this successful machine series: The Allrounder 420 C Golden Edition features a clamping force of 1,000 kN and operates with a size 290 injection unit. The maximum shot weight is 172 grams of polystyrene. The exhibit will produce a cable duct with film hinge.

The Allrounder 420 C Golden Edition will be equipped with a Multilift V Select robotic system, which is now available for Allrounder Golden Edition machines too. This new combination considerably extends the application range of the Multilift V Select robotic systems. The robotic system features high-quality basic equipment and covers a majority of removal and set-down tasks for injection moulding machines.

Simple and convenient programming via a teach-in function will also be presented on the exhibit. Here, by means of manually performed and confirmed steps, the robotic system can learn the positions it has to move to in order to pick up and set down parts with the utmost precision. Entry of the parameters, creation of the robotic sequence as well as integration in the machine cycle are all undertaken by the Selogica control system.

Exhibits fits to Indian market

Helmut Heinson, Arburg's Managing Director Sales, summarized the intentions of Arburg at the fair: "Our exhibit demonstrates the capability of our economical machines together with the adjusted robot system. With the Selogica-direct control system our customers receive an easy-to-use feature with teach-in function for simple and convenient programming of the robotic system. With the Allrounder Golden Edition we are presenting a product, which fits to the Indian plastics market needs. This economical machine series combines state-of-the-art machine technology with an attractive price/performance ratio and with the robotic system Multilift V Select it even offers a multi-functional peripheral equipment."
