AnyDoc Software Named ACE Award Finalist for Government and Banking & Finance

(PresseBox) (Tampa, ) AnyDoc Software, Inc., an industry-leading developer of automated document, data capture, and classification solutions, announced today it has been named a finalist for the 2009 ACE Awards, presented by ECM Connection, in both the Government and Banking & Finance categories.

The ECM Connection ACE Awards recognize vendors who demonstrate excellence across the board for Appeal, Content, and Education in promoting the education and adoption of ECM technologies beyond their overall horizontal offerings. ACE award nominees are judged on their feature-rich product line, information-rich marketing collateral, and outstanding educational outreach programs.

"In our pursuit of excellence we appreciate the recognition as we reach the milestones in our journey," said Sam Schrage, president of AnyDoc Software. "We intend to continue to develop our products and technologies to perpetuate this high level of achievement. Ultimately, we aim to empower our clients to do more with less by maximizing current staff and resources and eliminating the tedious manual processes associated with document processing," he continued.

Finalist recognition is based on the growing list of educational resources, events, and articles AnyDoc has produced, participated in, or contributed to throughout 2008, and also on the latest achievements of AnyDoc solutions. Specifically relating to the Banking and Finance industry, AnyDoc has developed a complete solution for accounting, comprised of AnyDoc®INVOICE(TM) and AnyDoc®REMIT(TM) with enhanced Check 21 capabilities. The solution automates the sorting, routing, and data capture of invoices, remittances, and checks. Knowing that every business faces the challenges associated with managing the two traditionally paper-intensive areas of accounts payable and accounts receivable, this complete accounting solution allows businesses to streamline operations and reduce expenses related to manual processes.

Concurrently, AnyDoc is recognized in the Government field for the capability of AnyDoc's flagship product, OCR for AnyDoc®, to reduce manual data entry and its related costs and improve productivity. OCR for AnyDoc automatically captures critical data from nearly any business document, quickly turning stacks of paper into useable data. This is especially important for government entities which are required to simultaneously maintain accurate records and be fiscally responsible. AnyDoc solutions allow government organizations to eliminate costs associated with paper processing and attain high levels of data accuracy and efficiency.

The ACE Awards will be presented at the AIIM Expo and Conference in Philadelphia, at the Channel Connection pavilion on April 1. Winners will be selected through an online vote via the ECM Connection website through March 16.

This designates the fifth consecutive year AnyDoc has received honors for the ACE Awards. In 2008, AnyDoc was recognized as a finalist for both Government and Healthcare, ultimately taking home the award in the Healthcare category.
